Adding Shifts

Adding Shifts

The Shifts feature is used to configure the period of time during which students are attending school in a single day. They are not meant as a timetabling feature.

1. Select Institutions

2. Select Academic

3. Select Shifts then  select Intervals.

IF THERE IS NO SHIFT DISPLAYED

1. Select "+" icon to add the First Shift

2. Scroll through and Add Shift Details.

There are three shifts to choose from
  1. Teacher Shift
  2. Administration and Aides Shift
  3. Student Shift

3. Location: Select “This Institution” (the location where the classes are being held; this would be your institution) OR Select “Other Institution (If classes and schools are being held at a different school)."

Once the shift has been added it will be on the shift page with the information being shown. There should be only one shift from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. If the shift has already been added, when you click the plus icon, you will see "All shifts have been used for the selected academic period".
