Release Notes

Introduction

This release document communicates the major new features, upgrades or enhancements for this release of Bahamas National Digital Education Platform (NDEP) as well as known issues, resolution status and the solution, if completed.

Release Information

Environment

The production site of Bahamas National Digital Education Platform (NDEP), available to the public is currently accessible at https://bahamas.1on1lms.com/, and this is the site from which the known issues were first identified. The functionality described in this release document is also available at https://bahamas-oe.1on1staging.com/start where the new features and upgrades/enhancements will first be implemented and upon approval pushed to production.

System Requirements

Upgrades/Enhancements  

1. MILO is now smaller.
   
2. Grades are now sent over to EMIS in real -time (at least 2-5 minutes) once a grade has been entered in the gradebook or on the view submissions page.
   
3. Teachers will NOT be able to enter grades for themselves for tests and assignments.

New Features

1. Students now receive a notification counter when a teacher adds new content, adds a test, adds an assignment, grades and assignment and leaves feedback on an assignment.
   
2.  Teachers can now add a due date on tests and assignments.
   
3. Teachers can now copy lesson kits to their class stream page.
   
4. Teachers can now copy lesson kit units to lessons on their class stream page.

Big Fixes

1. Teachers can now edit grades in the gradebook that are NOT auto-marked by the LMS.
   
2. Teachers CANNOT edit grades in the gradebook that are auto-marked by the LMS.
   
3. Teachers can edit grades from the "view submission" page and the updated grades are shown on the gradebook.
   
4. Teachers can edit grades that are NOT auto-marked on the gradebook and the updated grades are shown on the "view submissions" page.
   
5.  Teachers can move test/assignments from categories even if there is only one test/assignment under a category.
   
6. The gradebook is updated once a change is made on the "view submissions" page.

Known Issues
