Introduction

This release document communicates the major new features, upgrades, or enhancements for this release of the Bahamas National Digital Education Platform (NDEP) as well as known issues, resolution status, and the solution if completed.

Release Information

  2. Date – November 11, 2022

 Environment

The production site of Bahamas National Digital Education Platform (NDEP), available to the public is currently accessible at https://bahamas.1on1lms.com/, and this is the site from which the known issues were first identified. The functionality described in this release document is also available at https://bahamas-oe.1on1staging.com/start where the new features and upgrades/enhancements will first be implemented and upon approval pushed to production.

 System Requirements

Upgrades/Enhancements    

  1.  Teachers can now enter multiple grades in the gradebook without the page reloading each time a teacher enters a grade.
  2.  “Exam Grade” is now on the gradebook view for a teacher in a different colour and is not editable.
  3. “Assessment Average” verbiage has been changed to “Term Average.”

New Features       

  1. “ Teachers are now able to enter exam grades on the LMS for students.
  2.  Exam grades are automatically sent over to EMIS in real-time.
  3.   Teachers are now able to enter multiple exam grades at a time without the page reloading in between each time a teacher inputs a grade.

Bug Fixes      

  1.   The progress report calculation for “term average” is now calculating the “term average” out of 60 even when an assessment category has no grades.
  2.   Teachers can now enter zeros (0) in the gradebook and it remains as “0” and not a dash (-).

When a teacher updates a grade for a student on the gradebook. The grade is not reflected on the grade submission page


When a teacher enters a grade for a student in the gradebook (a grade that is not auto-marked by the LMS). The grade is not updated on the grade submission page

Error when copying questions in tests


An error message comes up when cloning/copying questions in the question bank. Once I click ok and refresh the page, the copied question appears. So even though the message says the action was incomplete, it actually was.

"Available until" date not
updating


When a teacher creates a test or an assignment and adds an "available until" date. If the teacher changes the date after saving, the date reverts to the previous date and does not update. Not Started Not Started
