Navigating the LMS

Every class that a teacher is assigned has a class summary on the main dashboard. It shows if a live class is upcoming, the name of the instructor, the number of students assigned to the class, the subject, and the grade. Teachers can also change the way how their classes are displayed whether it be by list or grid. You are also able to change the order in which classes appear on your dashboard.












Arrange subject tiles 
To do this:
Click and drag class tiles using the MOVE icon to a new position.


To switch between academic periods
Select the Hamburger icon, you will see a section marked the academic period. There will be a drop-down option. Use it to select the period you want to have access to.


To edit a class image:
  1. Identify the class you want to edit.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner of a class. 
  3. Click the "Upload Image" button. 
  4. Select the new image.


To view a class:
  1. Ensure you are on the main dashboard.
  2. Identify the class you want to view.
  3. Click anywhere on the class.  

You will see a loading page that indicates you are entering the class. After the page reloads, the first page you will always see is your class stream. 

 A class has seven different pages: Class Stream, Class Overview, and Lesson Kits are immediately displayed. Beside Lesson Kits, there is an icon that once selected it opens up a list of other choices these include: Discussion Board, Gradebook, Attendance, and Announcements.
