Creating Content: Adding Assignments and Cloning a Unit

  1. To add a test or survey to the course:
                  1. Click on the Add Content button.

                        





       A. Select Add assignment, then:

        i. Enter the name of the assignment.

        ii. Select how it should be completed:

           When instructor accepts the answer.

           When submitting an answer.

        iii. Enter a description.

        iv. Select files to upload from your computer, if necessary.

        v. Select a date and time for when the assignment is available and when it closes, and no more assignments can be submitted.

                                     

 

      B. Select Clone another unit, then:

        i. An existing unit can be copied to this course by cloning it.

        ii. Select the course, the lesson, and the unit.

        iii. Select whether the units should be linked. If a link is made, the cloned unit cannot be edited, only the original content.

        iv. Select whether this cloned units should include subunits if there are any.

        v. Select Clone or Clone and clone another button.



                              vi. The cloned unit should appear in the section listing for the course.
