On your messages page, you will be able to see messages that were sent to you (Incoming) as well as those that you sent (Sent).
For incoming messages, you will see the subject of the message, the sender, your name as the receiver, the date and time it was sent, whether or not the message was viewed, and the operations you would wish to take (delete).
To send a private message or view previous messages:
Tap the menu icon in the top left corner of your screen.
Scroll down and tap My Messages.
To view a message(incoming or sent):
Tap either the "Incoming or "Sent" button to select the type of message you want to view.
Identify the message you want to read and then click subject.
To send a new message:
Tap the "New Message"button.
Enter the Name(s) of the Recipient(s. You can only send messages to your classmates and teachers. Enter the name then select it when the full name appears from the list of suggested names.
Enter a Subject for your message.
Type your message
You may add an attachment as well. You do this by selecting the "Choose File" button, then selecting the file you wish to add as your attachment.
Tap Send Message when done.
You can delete a message by clicking the delete icon beside the message you want to delete. N.B. This action cannot be undone.
You also have the option to filter your messages, which makes searching easier. Filter by typing a keyword in the search bar and pressing enter.

Informs whether or not the message was viewed
