Promoting Students
Promoting students mean moving students from the previous academic year to the current academic year
1. Go to Institutions
2. Select Students
3. Click the Promotion/Graduation button (blue upward pointing arrow with person icon) at the top of the page
4. Select the “From Academic Period”
5. Select the “To Academic Period”
6. Select “From Grade”, which would be the students' previous grade
N.B: Go to Positions to confirm that the start dates are in the past.
7. Select Class (Students without Class)
8. Select Status as "Promoted"
9. Select “To Grade”, which would be the grade to which the students are being promoted
10. Select all or a subset of students to be promoted by checking the box at the top of the list or the box beside the group of names.
11. Click Next
12. Verify information then select "Save as Draft", "Confirm", or "Cancel"
Ensure all students are in the correct grade for the current academic year
