Introduction
This release document communicates the major new features, upgrades or enhancements for this release of Bahamas
National Digital Education Platform (NDEP).
Upgrades/Enhancements
- The base code was upgraded to version 5.3.1 which contained bug fixes and improvements
- The lesson name was added to the live session container on the stream page
- The discussion board was renamed to "Discussion Board" and added to a dropdown in the class stream navigation
- A maximum session duration of 4 hours was added to training sessions
- The location of Custom (Live and In Person) and MS live sessions was changed
- The lesson kits page was updated
- The users tab was removed from the training sessions page
- The ability for students to unenroll from live sessions was removed
- The properties tab was removed from the training sessions page
New Features
- Teachers can add homeroom sessions
- A copy button was added to the live class link on the class stream
- Teachers can switch academic periods on their dashboard
- Students can switch academic periods on their dashboard
- Students can see their homeroom class
- The Gradebook was added for School System Admin, Teacher and the Student
