Introduction

This release document communicates the major new features, upgrades or enhancements for this release of Bahamas National Digital Education Platform (NDEP) as well as known issues, resolution status and the solution, if completed.

Environment

The production site of Bahamas National Digital Education Platform (NDEP), available to the public is currently accessible at https://bahamas.1on1lms.com/, and this is the site from which the known issues were first identified. The functionality described in this release document is also available at https://bahamas-oe.1on1staging.com/start where the new features and upgrades/enhancements will first be implemented and upon approval pushed to production.

System Requirements

  1. OpenEMIS

Upgrades/Enhancements  

  1. Users are now able to switch classes from inside another class.
  2. Students no longer see the "Repeat Test" button once a teacher has closed the submission for a test.   

New Features

  1. School System Administrators and Teachers can view Progress Reports.
  2. School System Administrators and Teachers will see the student's EMIS ID, Homeroom name and grade.
  3. School System Administrators and Teachers can see the Progress Report for each student.
  4. School System Administrators and Teachers can view the details (the date the progress reports was generated, the name of the school, academic year & student's name) of a student's progress report.
  5. School System Administrators and Teachers can download student's Progress Reports.
  6.  School System Administrator and Teachers can view the attendance details (attendance percentage, number of sessions present, number of sessions absent for each subject) of a student's progress report.  
  7. Updated verbiage on Progress Report "Please note that averages calculated for grades are not weighted."
  8. Students can view their Progress Report.

Big Fixes

  1. Student (parent) will no longer see negative numbers when viewing attendance data on progress reports.
