Introduction

This release document communicates the major new features, upgrades or enhancements for this release of Bahamas National Digital Education Platform (NDEP) as well as known issues, resolution status and the solution, if completed.

Release Information

Environment

The production site of Bahamas National Digital Education Platform (NDEP), available to the public is currently accessible at https://bahamas.1on1lms.com/, and this is the site from which the known issues were first identified. The functionality described in this release document is also available at https://bahamas-oe.1on1staging.com/start where the new features and upgrades/enhancements will first be implemented and upon approval pushed to production.

System Requirements

  1. OpenEMIS

Upgrades/Enhancements  

  1. There are no new upgrades and enhancements in this release.    

 

New Features

  1. School System Administrators and Teachers will receive a success message once the attendance report is being generated.
  2. School System Administrator will see the last five (5) recently generated reports on their attendance dashboard.
  3. Teachers will see the last two (2) recently generated reports on their attendance reports pop up.
  4. School System Administrators and Teachers can generate attendance reports.
  5. School System Administrators and Teachers can download attendance reports.
  6. School System Administrators and Teacher will receive an email with the attendance report link (if data was found for the class and dates selected).
  7. School System Administrators and Teachers will receive an email when no attendance data was found.
  8. School System Administrators and Teachers cannot download an attendance report if no attendance data was found for the dates selected. 

Big Fixes

  1. Teachers will now see the the date and time their grades are sent over to OpenEMIS above the 'Submit to OpenEMIS' button on the grades review page.

Some transfer student grades are not being sent over to OpenEMIS

When a teacher configure the grades for a transfer student and submits the grade over to OpenEMIS. The grades for the transfer student is not being reflected on OpenEMIS.

 

In the grades preview gradebook, the action that was taken(exclude previous, previous only or average both)  to arrive at the grade for the transfer student is not being shown.

Teacher cannot download the grades preview grade book

After a teacher submits her grades to OpenEMIS and selects the download icon at the top of the page, a blank screen comes up. The teacher then selects back and receives this error "Failure
