Introduction

This release document communicates the major new features, upgrades or enhancements for this release of BVS.

 

New Features 

  1.  BVL-I57-Admins have access to the LMS
  2.  BVL-I60-Admins can view and join live sessions in their branch/school
  3.  BVL-I112-Teachers can Add Guardians to students in EMIS
  4.  BVL-I114-Guardians can access EMIS to view student information
  5.  BVL-I28-Students can reset their own password
  6.  BVL-I27-Students can see attendance data on their profile page
  7.  BVL-I38-Students can see assignment data on their profile page
  8.  BVL-I51-Students can view assignment summary from profile report page.
  9.  BAH-299-Teachers can create daily or weekly recurring live sessions 


Upgrades/Enhancements

  1.  BVL-I21-Updated class stream for students
  2.  BVL-I22-Updated class stream for teachers
  3.  BVL-I113-Updated gradebook for all subjects across all grades
  4.  BVL-I33-Updated Leaderboard to show accurate student points based on their class/grade and daily/weekly/monthly points as well as badges
  5.  BVL-I61-Updated timetable to show classes across the time slots as well as more details about the live class when clicked
  6.  BVL-I40-The associated school for a class was added to the teacher's class card on the dashboard
  7.  BVL-I55-The word "topic" was changed to "lessons" across the LMS
  8.  BVL-I84-The word "Quiz" was changed to "Tests" across the LMS
  9.  BVL-I81-Advanced settings removed from custom live session creation and updating
  10.  BVL-I90-Updated badge icons
  11.  BVL-I91-Total notifications added to the student dashboard bar
  12.  BVL-I92-Updated points icons below the header to be consistent with the points icon above the header
  13.  BVL-I37-Session link removed from student accounts
  14.  BVL-I50-Updated Class Overview list to show "Student has never logged in" for students who have not logged in


Bug Fixes

Issues

Description

BVL-I48-The link to the course library, class stream and class overview did not work when on the discussion forum

 

After clicking the discussion forum, the course library, class stream and class overview pages could not be accessed

BVL-I29-The score in a course (section) on the profile page was not accurate

 

The score shown was inaccurately representing student progress

BVL-I96-Some students were unable to join their live class

When random students attempted to join their live class they would get an error message

BVL-I97-Some teachers were unable to see the students in their homeroom

The homeroom classes showed subject students not homeroom students

BVL-I49-The class report page pagination was inaccurate

The pagination showed blank pages where there should have been students listed

BVL-I26-The class overview pagination was incorrect

 

The pagination showed blank pages as well as a message that there were no students in the class where there should have been students listed

BVL-I44-A student was not able to send a message from the "Classmates" page

If any student tried to send a message to a student an error message would be displayed which doesn't allow them to send the message
